Our trained and compassionate staff members, many of whom are veterans themselves, are knowledgeable in veteran-specific health conditions. Most common training and support includes PTSD, TBI, and other service-related injuries. We provide specialized care plans that take into consideration the physical, emotional, and mental health needs of each and every one of our veteran residents.
Respite Care
Temporary short-term assisted living for whatever the need may be. Whether it's providing an opportunity for a caregiver to take some time off or extra help while recovering from a medical procedure. At Great American Assisted Living Communities our staff of trained professionals is equipped to support your needs.
Life at a Great American Community
We honor and respect the military service of our veteran residents by creating a supportive and patriotic environment. Our communities have displays of military memorabilia, organize events or activities to commemorate military holidays, and provide opportunities for veterans to share their stories and experiences.
Great American Dining
Three squares a day, just like in the chow hall. We offer dining options that cater to the dietary preferences or restrictions of veterans, such as special menus with familiar or nostalgic meals, and options for accommodating specific dietary needs related to service-related conditions. Our dining rooms all feature a “Wall of Valor”, with each Veteran’s photo and the division they served. It’s a beautiful setting.
